The story of a family home

Nestled in the heart of the Champagne region, in the picturesque village of Tours-sur-Marne, lies the Lamiable family's champagne house. For three generations, they have passionately crafted unique and elegant champagnes.

The story began in 1955 when Pierre Lamiable and his brothers planted their first vines in the vineyard called Les Vignes des Meslaines. Their ambition soon led to the purchase of their own wine press and tanks, which allowed them to produce their first bottles of champagne.

In 1972, Jean-Pierre Lamiable took over the helm. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he expanded the champagne's reputation and marketing over the next 34 years, passing on his passion and expertise to his daughter, Ophélie.

Today, Ophélie Lamiable and her husband, Arnaud Lapie, continue this family tradition, while simultaneously applying modern techniques to elevate their champagnes to an even higher level. Arnaud also brings his own family tradition, thanks to the vineyards he inherited from his grandparents.

Vineyards with unique terroirs

Champagne Lamiable owns 5.5 hectares of vineyards, the majority of which are located on Grand Cru terroirs in Tours-sur-Marne and Bouzy, on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. They also own Premier Cru plots in Billy-le-Grand. The vines, some of which are over 45 years old, are carefully and respectfully maintained, resulting in champagnes with complexity and character.

Sustainable and organic

Sustainability is central to Champagne Lamiable's philosophy. They have been working with organic farming methods for years. Their vineyards are certified with the High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne labels. Since 2024, their Grand Cru vineyards have also officially carried the Organic Farming label. In their cellar, they intervene as little as possible, allowing their champagnes to develop naturally.

Elegance in every bottle

Lamiable champagnes are characterized by finesse, balance, and refinement. The carefully crafted blends of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay deliver fresh floral aromas, subtle mineral notes, and a refined mousse. Thanks to a low dosage, they retain their characteristic freshness and elegance.

Visitors are always welcome to experience the passion and craftsmanship of Champagne Lamiable firsthand during tours and tastings in the atmospheric wine cellars and beautiful vineyards.

Champagne Lamiable is more than just champagne – it's a story of family, tradition, and respect for nature, carefully packaged in every sparkling bottle.
